Terms of Use

Last updated: October 23, 2026

Momento is operated by Teaser Software. By accessing or using the Momento app, website or related services, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. About Momento

Momento allows users to create shared photo events, invite guests through links or QR codes, capture photos, and collect memories together in one shared space.

2. Your Account

Creating and managing an event requires a registered account. Guests can join without registering; Momento creates an anonymous sign-in session to associate their name, participation and photos with the event.

Keep your sign-in details secure. Linking an email, Apple or Google identity lets you access the account using that sign-in method. Do not use Momento for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harmful purposes.

3. Events and Guest Access

Guests join through an invitation link or QR code, subject to event availability, the guest limit and whether the host has removed them. Share invitations only with people you intend to invite.

The host can view event photos before the guest reveal time. After that time, active guests can view either all available event photos or only their own, depending on the host's visibility setting. Photos from removed participants are hidden from the event gallery.

Taking or deleting a photo does not restore a used shot. Photo uploads close when the event ends.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos you contribute. You give Momento permission to store, process and display them to provide the event camera, gallery, downloads and related service functions.

Only upload or share content you have the right to use, and obtain any permission needed from people shown in your photos. Sharing photos in an event makes them available according to the host's settings; other participants may save copies.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not upload or share content that:

  • Violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Contains illegal, abusive, threatening, or harmful material
  • Contains malware or attempts to interfere with the service
  • Is intended to impersonate or mislead others

We may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with legal requirements, or enforce these Terms.

6. Paid Features

Paid features apply to the selected event and include guest-capacity upgrades and unlimited shots. Prices and included features are shown before checkout. Upgrades must be purchased before the event ends.

Native purchases use Apple App Store or Google Play billing. Web checkout uses payOS. A purchase takes effect after payment is verified; a pending or failed payment does not activate an upgrade.

For an App Store purchase, request a refund through Apple. For a Google Play purchase, use Google Play's refund process or contact support. For a payOS payment, contact developer@teasersoftware.com with your order reference. Eligibility depends on the payment channel's rules and applicable law; submitting a request does not guarantee a refund.

7. Storage and Service Availability

An event with no successful paid purchase is subject to automatic deletion 15 days after its end time, including its photos and cover. Download photos you want to keep before that deadline.

Events with a successful paid purchase are not subject to this automatic 15-day deletion rule. They can still be removed when their host deletes the event or account.

Keep your own copies of important photos. Network failures, device changes and service interruptions may affect access or uploads; Momento does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

8. Account and Event Deletion

You can stop using Momento at any time. To delete your account, open Settings and choose Delete Account.

Account deletion removes your profile, participation records and photos you contributed, and deletes events you host with the photos in those events, including photos contributed by guests. This cannot be undone. Other people may still have copies they downloaded.

Payment records are retained separately, with references to deleted accounts and events removed. Deleting an account does not automatically request or issue a refund.

9. Your Responsibilities and Rights

You are responsible for securing your account, sharing invitations appropriately and keeping copies of photos you want to retain. Event settings and actions by the host can affect your access to an event and its photos.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, website, or another appropriate method.

Continued use of Momento after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
