Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Momento processes the following information to provide the service:

• Account and guest information: your display name, profile image, email or sign-in provider information when supplied, and the identifiers used to associate an account or anonymous guest session with events.
• Event and photo information: event details, invitation codes, guest participation, shot counts, gallery settings, photos, thumbnails and covers you create or contribute.
• Notification information: if you enable push notifications, your notification token, mobile platform, app language and registration activity.
• Payment information: order references, selected products, amount, currency, payment channel, transaction verification information and payment status. Payment credentials are handled by the payment channel; Momento does not collect full payment-card details through its checkout.
• Technical information: authentication sessions, upload status and connection or request information processed by the services used to operate Momento. These are used to authenticate access, deliver uploads and operate the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use this information to:

• Sign you in and associate your guest participation with an event
• Create and manage events, invitations, guest limits and shot allowances
• Upload, store, display and deliver photos according to event access settings
• Send event notifications when enabled and maintain your notification inbox
• Verify payments and apply purchased event upgrades
• Resolve support requests and investigate operational or security problems

The app also stores sign-in state, preferences and queued photos on your device or browser. Queued photos need a successful upload before they are available to other event participants.

3. How Photos Are Shared

The host can view event photos before the reveal time set for guests. Once that time is reached, active guests can view all available event photos or only their own photos, depending on the host's visibility setting. Photos from removed participants are hidden from the gallery.

Your display name and event participation can be visible to people with the corresponding event access. Share invitation links and QR codes carefully. People who can view photos may download copies; deleting content from Momento cannot remove copies saved elsewhere.

4. How We Share Information

Information is processed by services needed to operate Momento, including:

• Supabase for account authentication, event records, profile images and event covers
• Cloudflare R2 for event photos and thumbnails
• The hosting services used to run the app, website and API
• Expo and the mobile platform's push services when push notifications are enabled
• Apple App Store, Google Play or payOS for the payment channel you use
• Apple or Google when you choose their sign-in option

Information you send to support is used to handle your request. Service providers process information according to their role and applicable terms. Event sharing is described above; information may also be disclosed where legally required.

5. Data Retention

Events with no successful paid purchase become eligible for permanent deletion 15 days after the event ends. This removes the event, its photos and its cover. Download photos you want to keep before the deadline.

Events with a successful paid purchase are not subject to that automatic 15-day rule. Content can still be removed through event or account deletion.

Deleting your account removes your profile, participation records and contributed photos, and deletes your hosted events with all photos in them. Payment records remain separately, with references to deleted accounts and events removed. These records support payment reconciliation and support requests.

Other participants may retain downloaded copies. Photos awaiting upload and other local app data may remain on your device or browser until cleared.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You can manage the following choices in the app or your device settings:

• Edit your display name
• Manage gallery visibility and reveal timing for events you host
• Enable or disable notifications and manage camera or photo-library permissions
• Download photos you are allowed to view
• Request account deletion in Settings

For requests to access, correct, export or delete personal information, withdraw consent, restrict processing, or raise a privacy concern, email developer@teasersoftware.com. Available rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law; requests may require identity verification.

7. Security

Momento checks account and event access before providing photo download or upload links. Those links are temporary. Keep your sign-in details and invitation links secure, and avoid forwarding photo links to unintended recipients.

No online service guarantees absolute security. Report suspected unauthorized access or a privacy incident to developer@teasersoftware.com.

8. Children’s Privacy

Do not upload or share photos or other personal information about a child without the permission required by applicable law. Hosts and contributors are responsible for obtaining any required permission before sharing.

If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about a child's information in Momento, contact developer@teasersoftware.com and identify the event or content involved. We may need information to verify your relationship and locate the content.

9. International Data Processing

The hosting, storage, authentication and payment services used by Momento may process information outside your country. The location depends on the service and its configuration.

10. Third-Party Services

Momento may contain links to or integrations with third-party services.

Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Momento is not responsible for how those third parties handle your information.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make significant changes, we may notify you through the app, website, email, or another appropriate method.
